Free… pencils? I guess it was nice to give EFMN pencils to people who visited our booth, so sure, I’m grateful for those, too. Pencils aren’t as much fun as toothpick puzzles at the Mensa booth, but we had something they didn’t have…

Plinko. Hand the kids a plastic chip, have them drop it into one of several different slots, watch it bounce off little posts as it makes its way to the bottom of the Plinko board, then the spot where it finally lands indicates which trivia question about epilepsy we ask them (two were multiple choice, two were true/false, so at worst, your odds of guessing correctly were 33%). That’s right, we made them work for their free stuff! Hey, wait a second…
