Gratitudes 2018, Day 26

Since I mentioned The Beatles yesterday, I decided to cruise through the Interwebs and find some of their songs that I’m glad I’ve heard in the past.

Mind you, I don’t own any Beatles albums. I’m going waaaaay back to riding in my dad’s truck as a kid listening to the oldies station. (Yes, I’m aware that they play 70s and 80s music now, but back then, it was 40s and 50s. Now get off my lawn!) So here are some that I’m grateful for in no particular order:

  1. Hey Jude. I lied, this one is first for a reason. It’s a good song, of course, but it’s also apparently got a great melody for chanting at Norwegian soccer matches. I have no idea what they were chanting, but I know it wasn’t the original lyrics.

  2. All You Need Is Love. Because that’s what inspired today’s list of gratitudes.

  3. Twist and Shout. Because who doesn’t like twisting and shouting? Unless ankle injuries are involved. Then it’s bad.

  4. Yesterday. If you want to feel wistful and sad, this song will definitely help.

  5. Here Comes the Sun. If you want to stop feeling wistful and sad, “It’s all right, do-do-do-do, do-do-do, do-do-do, do-do-do-do-do…”
