A wonderful lass named Helly has had a web feed on shawnbakken.com since waaaaaay back in the good ol’ days of close to two years ago. Not quite waaaaaay back enough to preserve the entries from when I was on Beauty and the Geek, but hopefully, I’ve got a bunch of those still saved on my laptop’s hard drive.
If everything works out properly, we might have pretty much everything back where it started, though because of the different software on Blogger vs. WordPress, I’m not sure how all of the entries and the organization of the blog will work. Suffice it to say that this will be new and (hopefully) interesting for everyone involved and that you’ll all stick with me until we get things straightened out completely. And thanks again to Helly.
P.S.—You may remember my having mentioned Matt, the guy who ran the server for the original site. Well, he’s also technically the owner of the web address, so if he was killed in a tragic big-screen-TV-falling-on-his-head-in-his-home-movie-theater accident (and I’m sure we all know a couple people like that), it could be a while before shawnbakken.com gets back on the map again. Sorry for any inconvenience that his death may have caused all of you…
