Brent, a gentleman who used to write comments on shawnbakken.com on occasion, alerted me to the “Internet Archive Wayback Machine” website, which has a whole bunch of ooooooold versions of the site. There are some large gaps between posts, some not-so-appealing designs, some really ugly-ass colors… trust me, this is a serious improvement. It’s still “(almost) shawnbakken.com,” but it’s still an improvement. So thanks to Brent for his help as well—hopefully, it’ll have all the old dates along with all the old posts. I don’t think it’ll be possible to preserve all the comments (which is a shame, considering some posts were made specifically for the purpose of leaving comments…), but that just means you’ll get to provide input all over again! If you said something dumb the first time around, this will be your chance to vindicate yourself and make up for past failures! Or at least it’ll take up less space at the bottom of all the posts…
